Déjame presentarme.

My name is María Victoria Flor Molina de la Riva.

I am currently a senior at CECyTE High School in Primo Tapia, Mexico. My favorite class is chemistry because I enjoy learning about chemical processes and how they occur. My chemistry teacher, Karen Lopez Peraza, is my favorite because she provides the attention and support we need, helping us build confidence to ask questions and understand chemical composition and behavior.

My plan is to complete high school and pursue a university education. However, my situation is challenging because I live in an orphanage. Once I turn 18, I may be required to leave with no financial support to achieve my dreams. Receiving a scholarship would be life-changing, allowing me to continue my education, and I would be deeply grateful for this opportunity.

For me, education is more than just learning—it is my path to a better future. It is my chance to break the cycle of hardship that my parents experienced. I have two younger sisters, and I want to be a positive role model for them, showing them that a good life is possible. My determination drives me to make decisions that will lead to a brighter future for myself and inspire my sisters to do the same when they leave the orphanage.

My dreams for the future include having a stable life, a home, and a car—not seeking perfection, but security and independence. I aspire to study music at a university in Guadalajara, Jalisco, as I am highly passionate about music. I love composing lyrics and melodies and playing instruments. My dream is to become a professional musician and artist, sharing my music with the world. I also envision a future where I might start a family, get married, and have children, all while living a fulfilling and happy life.

Beyond personal success, I want to prove to myself and to my parents—wherever they may be—that I can achieve my dreams. I hope to one day reunite with my family, leaving the past behind and showing them that I made it. These aspirations fuel my determination, but I know that the first step begins with me. With hard work, dedication, and the support of this scholarship, I am confident that I can achieve everything I set my mind to.
