Citlali Padilla

Forensics/Criminology

Tijuana Campus

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Citlali Guadalupe Padilla Camacho, and I was born on June 2, 2006, in Rosarito, Baja California. I am currently a 17-year-old student at CECyTE high school. From a young age, I have been captivated by the complexities of crime and justice, which has shaped my decision to pursue a career in forensic science and criminology.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, meditating, and watching documentaries about crime and serial killers. These hobbies not only reflect my curiosity about human behavior and justice but also fuel my passion for understanding and solving the mysteries of the criminal world.

My parents have been my greatest source of inspiration and encouragement. My father has always motivated me to continue studying, while my mother has taught me the importance of fighting for my dreams. Despite limited financial resources, they have consistently supported me and encouraged me to pursue my goals. Their belief in me drives my determination to succeed in higher education.

Forensic science and criminology are more than academic pursuits for me; they are a calling. My passion for these fields stems from a deep desire to contribute to society by solving crimes and promoting justice. Universidad UNID Campus Ensenada is the ideal institution to help me realize my dreams. Its strong academic reputation and specialized programs in forensic science and criminology provide the perfect environment for my growth. Moreover, the university's location in Ensenada offers unique opportunities for hands-on learning and research, which are crucial for my professional development.

My short-term goal is to enroll at Universidad UNID and immerse myself in its forensic science and criminology program. However, my aspirations extend far beyond earning a degree. I dream of becoming an agent of change, someone who contributes to crime prevention and ensures justice and public safety with integrity, ethics, and dedication.

In addition to my commitment to justice, I also hold a deep passion for animal welfare. One of my long-term goals is to establish an animal shelter, providing a safe haven for abandoned and mistreated animals. This shelter would not only offer care and rehabilitation but also raise awareness about the importance of compassion and empathy for all living beings.

I envision a future where I can combine my two passions: justice and animal welfare. Through my work in forensic science and criminology, I aim to generate the resources necessary to bring my dream of an animal shelter to life. This shelter will serve as my way of giving back to society and leaving a lasting legacy of kindness and advocacy.

Receiving a scholarship would be a transformative opportunity for me. It would alleviate the financial burdens of materials, rent, and other expenses associated with moving to Ensenada. With this support, I could focus entirely on my studies and personal growth, paving the way for a bright and meaningful future.

Thank you for considering my application. With your assistance, I am confident in my ability to achieve my academic and professional goals, contribute to society, and create a positive impact in both justice and animal welfare.

Sincerely,Citlali Guadalupe Padilla Camacho
