Yuliana Moreno Gamez

I am studying for a degree in educational sciences at the Inter-American University for Development (UNID). I chose this career first because it was a very good option for me due to the flexibility of schedules and workdays, since I am a mother of a family and I divide all my time among my daughter, my partner and my pets.  Education was not my first choice as there were other priority careers but when I researched education it seemed very interesting and beautiful, and now that I study it I like it more and more. It is very interesting because the concept of teaching for me before was very limited, but I think that educating a child is something very beautiful because it is not only teaching them to read or write, educating goes further, it is guiding them, constraining them, training them, preparing them. Teachers go farther than just teaching the letters and times tables, we leave a part of our essence in each student.
